Wrinkle Blur Eye Brightener is sure to – literally “set your eyes” – and make them look brighter. Oh, and it takes as little as 10 minutes to see the results! Bid farewell to your eye bags, because you won’t be seeing them for a while.
Another amazing product has just landed in our Olivia Quido Skincare collection and once again, it has officially SOLD OUT in a matter of days.
This eye brightener comes in a cute syringe-like container where you twist the bottom cap to get that creamy- goodness out and onto your under eye.
In episode 55 of the Miss O Show, Ms. O shared how she came up with the product that took her 2 years to study and formulate.
“I made the Wrinkle Blur because I was thinking of those who are concerned with their “eyebags.” (when you have) eyebags would sometimes (still) make your face look tired even if you are following a regular skincare regime,” Ms. O says.
The name of the product aptly explains what it was made to do, which is to “erase” those fine lines that show up under our eyes, but that doesn’t mean you cannot use it on other areas of the face where you’d usually have wrinkles, such as your forehead. So YES! It also works on those unsightly forehead lines that we sooo love to not-see.
While Wrinkle Blur has proved to be very effective, you would want to make sure that you use it properly to achieve the best results. To maximize its effectiveness, you would have to let the product set for about 10 minutes upon applying. It is best to keep your face still during this time so we recommend minimal-to-zero-facial movements. Also, a little goes a long way. You may apply it daily: once at night and in the morning. And when you do, make sure that you dab it on the area under your eyes from end to end.
It took 2 years to make but we assure you, it is worth the wait. Olivia Quido Skincare launched the Underarm (UA) Brightener last month. In a recent episode of The Miss O Show, Ms. O excitedly talks about the newest addition to her line of products made to help address a common issue that causes some women to feel insecure or less-confident.
Following the release of the Milk Brightening Bar a few months ago, O Skin VIPs and “Beauty Besties” are already expressing their excitement for the newly-launched product.
One VIP member said, “Goodbye to the ‘dark part’ of my life!”
In the product launch episode, Ms. O talked about the underarm area being the toughest one to treat due to factors that cause underarm darkening. These include friction caused by frequent arm movements and the use of underarm products that contain aluminum.
“Having dark underarms is one of the most common concerns that women have. Some women, in spite of having beautiful arms, are not confident to wear sleeveless shirts, because they are conscious about their dark underarms,” Ms. O says.
This right here is our favorite part. We love giving our readers a closer look at our products by talking about each ingredient and its benefits. We are happy to say that all these ingredients are very effective in treating “dark spots” but are safe enough to use everyday.
When it comes to your skin’s vitality, Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that can help combat free radical damage from sun and pollution that harm and degrade your skin each day. This is one of the most important things to be mindful of when we’re thinking about protecting your skin from premature aging. Your skin’s ability to regenerate and repair is what keeps your skin looking smooth, bright and young. The antioxidants in Vitamin C not only help our skin with regeneration by accelerating cellular turnover, but offer important protection by helping to neutralize free radicals, thus prohibiting the daily damage they can cause.
Antioxidants are not the only way Vitamin C aid in repair and prevents premature aging. Collagen and elastin are the naturally occurring protein fibers that keep our skin looking plump and firm and topical Vitamin C can help boost collagen production. These two benefits combined make it a major skin saver for preventing the signs of aging and keeping skin healthy, youthful and glowing.
Hyperpigmentation can look like patches of discoloration or spots and it is often caused by sun exposure which creates the production of melanin in the skin. Regular use of topical Vitamin C has been shown to inhibit your skin’s melanin production. When used as part of a daily regimen, Vitamin C can not only help fade existing spots, but can help prevent dark spots from forming in the first place. It works well for all skin types and tones because it helps to fade dark spots without altering skin’s natural pigmentation.
Yes! It does that too! Not only can it help fade irregular pigmentation, by increasing cellular turnover, it can smooth the skin’s surface and reduce dullness, inflammation and redness, helping to brighten your skin’s overall appearance for a youthful radiant glow! There have even been studies that show these brightening effects have been helpful in reducing the appearance of under-eye circles.
Although Vitamin C can be very powerful, in order to see results it is important that it remains in its purest form and does not oxidize from over exposure to air. When this happens it can lose its potency and benefits. Miss O specifically chose to formulate with L-ascorbic acid not only because it is the most stable form of Vitamin C, but also because studies have shown it to be the most effective at penetrating the skin and has shown in studies to have superior brightening results to other types of Vitamin C. If your Vitamin C has turned brown it may have oxidized and may no longer be as potent.
Clinical research studies has shown that 20% is the highest concentration before the possibility of minor skin irritation. For maximum benefit we suggest using the highest recommended dose of 20%. If your skin is sensitive Miss O suggests doing a patch test on just a small area of the skin. If no irritation occurs, go ahead and use all over the face.
Vitamin C Serum can be used once or twice a day. Cleanse, tone, and then apply Vitamin C Serum before you moisturize. This will allow for maximum absorption. Miss O suggests using Vitamin C Serum as part of the Brightening Regimen for maximum results!

]]>Hyperpigmentation is a common skin condition that causes patches of the skin, often on the face, to become darker than your natural skin tone. These dark patches or spots occur when an excess of melanin, the pigment that produces skin color, forms deposits in the skin.
The most common form of hyperpigmentation is due to sun damage. These small dark patches usually appear on the hands and face, chest and arms or other areas most exposed to the sun. They are often referred to as age spots or liver spots, however medically they are called Solar Lentigines.
Melasma or Chloasma typically show up in patches and across larger areas. This is most often brought on by shifts in hormones that cause an overproduction of melanin. Pregnancy for example often brings on melasma, or “pregnancy mask.” Birth control or anything disrupting the hormones can also be a trigger.
Some people are more genetically predisposed to hyperpigmentation and freckling. It’s very common to experience a mixture of both types of spots.
Injury to the skin such as acne scarring or even surgery can create discoloration in the skin. It’s possible that a reaction to a medication can trigger melasma. Extreme heat has also been shown to bring on a melasma flare up, making summer an important time to avoid long heat and sun exposure. Even prolonged heat from things like saunas, steam rooms or hot yoga where there are areas of high heat can have an increasing effect on existing hyperpigmentation.
All types of hyperpigmentation from freckles and age spots to melasma can increase and become darker and more pronounced from sun exposure. A function of melanin is to absorb the sun’s Ultraviolet rays and when it does so it deepens in color and expands. We recommend our Broad Spectrum SPF 50 as part of your daily skincare regimen.
The best way to prevent hyperpigmentation is to get serious about sun protection! Follow these steps to truly protect your skin:
For maximum results, we recommend a professional skin consultation to identify your specific types of hyperpigmentation and a customized treatment approach. Some treatments are only available through a medical professional.

Just a few days following the launch of the Olivia Quido Milk Brightening Bar Friday May 13, 2022, the latest addition to the Olivia Quido Skincare line has officially sold out in less than 2.5 weeks with thousands worth of sales. What makes this soap extra special and why are people falling in love with it?
In an exclusive episode of the Miss O Show (a weekly live streaming talk show hosted by O Skin Med Spa CEO, Olivia Quido-Co), the latter gave a demonstration – from the customary “unboxing” up to actually using the soap on her arms, which showed a remarkable change in brightness with just one wash.
The show also featured testimonials from clients who have tried and loved the product.
“I am amazed at how the brightening bar glides on my body with its very rich lather. I love the clean, mild, fresh scent of the soap. I felt my skin so smooth, soft and supple right away…Wow!!” a client gushed.
Another client said, “The awesomeness of this soap bar continues as I noticed my arms and legs brighter and whiter in just one use.”
As of writing, the episode has been viewed 322,000 times.
We see it on most product labels: a table of ingredients with its nutritional value and content. But how often do we see product ingredients discussed in detail? Well, here at O Skin Care, we love taking an in-depth look at the products we make by talking about the ingredients one by one so that our readers know the benefits of each element.
In her latest video, Filipino actress Bella Padilla shares her skincare routine where she uses a number of O Skin products to keep her skin rejuvenated after a long day of wearing makeup.
“It’s been more than a month since I shot my skincare routine video in Paris…my skin has improved so much. It’s so soft.. so smooth and so supple. And I have Miss O to thank for.”
In her video entitled “My skincare routine…,” the Filipino British actress says that she is “completely obsessed with this routine” and has seen amazing results from using O Skin products for just a month. She starts with washing her face with the Olivia Quido Cleansing Milk. “I spoil myself with skincare…so a pea-sized portion (of the cleansing milk) will be fine but since I was out the whole day and I had make up on, I really wanna spoil myself because I was super tired and my skin is also super tired…,” she says.
After rinsing and wiping her face dry, she reaches for the Balancing Toner, and gently dabs it on her facing using a cotton pad. Then she takes 2-3 pumps of the Active Moisturizer to moisturize her face. Her next step involves applying a few dabs of the Secret Radiance Night Lightening Cream to address the redness in her chin area and cover up an ‘acne mark.’ “I like to use this on my neck about once or twice a week to even (it) out,” she added.
Another amazing product she showed in the video was the Olivia Quido Secret Gold 24k Mask. She said she only uses the product sparingly as advised by Secret Gold creator Olivia Quido-Co. She did not use the mask in the video as it was not her scheduled “mask night” yet.
She then ends the first half of his video to say goodnight and invited everyone to keep watching for the other half as she shares her morning skincare routine.
Fresh from waking up, Bela shares her morning skincare routine starting with washing her face with a Cleansing Milk by Olivia Quido Skincare. Followed by a few dabs of the same Balancing Toner, and then her “favorite part” which is applying sunblock. She uses the Olivia Quido SPF 50 Sunblock with Lilac Stem Cell. “My favorite part of this sunblock is…for people like me who doesn’t like lotion or stuff that are too creamy. This (sunblock) dries like powder so you can applying the sunblock on her face.
In the latter part of the vlog, Bela shares a video of her in Dubai. She filmed the video to share an update of her Skincare routine after using O Skin Products for more than a month.
]]>The short answer is these naturally derived ingredients have been clinically proven to supply powerful anti-aging support to the skin.
]]>According to dermatologist Dr. Ava Shamban*, they can stimulate better cell turnover, leading to more youthful skin cells at the surface of the skin. Plant stem cells have a strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect, helping to protect against sun damage and prevent wrinkles, according to dermatologist Dr. Sonoa Au*. Not only do they provide the powerful protective benefits of antioxidants, there is also evidence that stem cells promote the production of new collagen, which stimulates skin regeneration.
Antioxidants Block Skin Aging from Free Radicals
Skin aging is a complex process which involves all the layers of the epidermis and dermis. Internal and external factors influence skin aging, the most important external factor being UV exposure from the sun. The free radicals that are formed as a result of the UV radiation cause the degradation of the skin and changes in the structure of the skin’s collagen and elastins. Collagen and elastins are what make our skin look full and firm and it’s the loss of collagen that makes our skin start to show fine lines, change texture, and lose firmness. Antioxidants are a proven way to neutralize free radicals and prevent those damaging effects on the skin. Lilac Stem Cells have been show to be extremely high in antioxidants and clinically proven for cellular function and repair in the skin.
Boosting Collagen to Help Skin Regeneration
The internal factors that cause changes in the skin structure are, primarily the skin loosing its ability to regenerate, and this process becomes slower as we age. The reduction of the regenerative potential of the skin is the result of, among other factors, lower activity of the stem cells. This is why scientists turned to plant stem cells to see if they can help restore some of these lost functions. Along with boosting collagen production, plant stem cells have been proven to help rebuild damaged epidermis, and activate the repair of skin cells.
Age-Defense Skincare with Plant Stem Cells
Bottom line: Lilac stem cells and other plant stem cells are a strong line of defense from the biggest causes of skin aging. You can find them in our Cleansing Milk, Balancing Toner, Active Moisturizer, our Vitamin C Serum, and our Broad Spectrum Sunscreen.

]]>Pregnancy is a time when hormonal changes can change your skin significantly – from positive changes like “pregnancy glow” to negative ones like acne. Here are some tips on how you can help your skin remain healthy.
Many people are born with naturally thin and sparse eyebrows. This is true for most Asians in the Far East who have really thin eyebrows. The search for fuller and more luscious eyebrows bring them to permanent tattoo eyebrow shapers that end up having a fake, perfectly unnatural arched look and turns to a green, red or blue color as they fade. Olivia Quido, skincare specialist to the stars, offers a very natural looking eyebrow shaping technique at O Skin Med Spa.
"If you have not had a permanent eyebrow tattoo yet and you are always bothered with drawing eyebrows everyday or if you have over plucked or had a bad wax experience, I have a natural looking semi-permanent solution - eyebrow sculpting,” she says.
Olivia adds, “Good-looking eyebrows are essential because they frame your face so if they look messy and strayed, your face appear different. So it is important that the eyebrows are shaped either full or thin and naturally arched to achieve a beautiful frame to your face. Eyebrow Sculpting, of course depends on the shape of your face. If you have a round face, your eyebrows should be arched and pointy. If you have a long oval face, your eyebrows should be straight/horizontal. It is unique to each one’s face shape.”
Eyebrow sculpting is a very tedious aesthetic procedure. Olivia explains “It takes roughly an hour and a half time to perform and I personally do it with much care and precision.” The most adored skin care esthetician in LA recalls the arduous hours and weeks she has spent studying this in Asia to perfect this procedure.” She adds, “The eyebrows sculpting will look really natural because what I draw blends in with the hair and the arching becomes so flawless, I also consider hair color. I make sure that the hair color matches with what I apply.” she beams.
Olivia’s passion for this craft has kept many clients abuzzed with this delicate but popular O Skin Care service. In fact, Olivia is swamped with schedules for eyebrow sculpting. It is the hot commodity in O Skin Care now. “Since I am the only one who does this eyebrow shaping, my schedule has been filled up quickly but I make sure that everybody gets to have it immediately since I personally love doing it”
So for most of you who are having embarrassing experiences in the gym when you sweat off your eyebrow penciled make up or you have a slumber party with your friends and your eyebrow make up messes up and loses its color, here is an easy semi-permanent solution. It is guaranteed no swelling and it is natural looking. It is almost like you were born with this nicely shaped eyebrows.
]]>The skin makes up a huge part of our body and is exposed to the elements like sun, pollution, and weather. Dermatologists will tell you that taking care of it is important to not only your aging process but your overall health and well being. Whether you suffer from dry skin, oily skin or acne, all skin conditions are better cared for with moisturizing.
To be healthy, skin needs to maintain a certain level of water. For our skin to feel and look smooth and supple it ideally needs to be 30% water. Not only does it help the skin’s volume and appearance but it allows the skin to shed and regenerate smoothly. Without it, skin becomes dry and flaky and and can even become irritated and start to crack and hurt. At the most basic level, moisturizers help add and hold water or hydration in the skin and they work to create a protective layer or barrier to keep that hydration in and prevent water loss.
While moisturizers can be formulated with special ingredients to target certain skin concerns, to effectively moisturize they need these three key building blocks:
OCCLUSIVES — "Occlusives are oils and waxes which form an inert layer on the skin and physically block transepidermal water loss," says Dr. King. "Examples include squalene, beeswax, lecithin, and zinc oxide."
For all skin types an underlying moisture imbalance may result in dry skin, redness, acne breakouts, or overreactive oil glands. Moisturizers primary function is to keep skin hydration balanced. But there are other reasons they are an important part of caring for your skin.
Moisturizing Keeps Skin Looking Younger
The skin on your face, neck, and chest are the most delicate and typically get the most exposure to the sun and elements, also making them more prone to damage, signs of aging and even cancer. These delicate areas also shed skin cells more rapidly and require more moisture. Keeping your skin moisturized can not only plump the skin to diminish signs of aging, but also protect it from inflammation and the type of exposures that cause aging.
Moisturizers Protect Your Skin
An essentially invisible, yet constant assault on our skin is the pollution in our air. Daily exposure can interrupt collagen production, cause inflammation and disrupt the skin’s moisture barrier. Moisturizer acts as a line of defense protecting your skin from the elements and fortifying it from accelerated aging. Moisturizers with broad-spectrum protection can also prevent premature lines and wrinkles caused by sun exposure. We recommend using sunscreen every day, especially when receiving treatments which may make your skin more sensitive to the sun.
When to Moisturize
Immediately after your shower or bath is the most crucial time to moisturize. Hot water strips the natural oils from your skin which can dry it out. Applying moisturizer in the few minutes just after you get out can help your skin return to a balanced state. It’s important to moisturize immediately after you shave and exfoliate as well.
You can find all of these foundational ingredients and daily skin support in our Active Moisturizer, and Beauty Oil.
